1. How to locate a hidden wireless transmitter? |
|
1. First switch the power on, and turn the sensitivity tuner to the most "+". As the detector detecting suspicious wireless signals, both alarm sound and LED lights will turn on. 2. In order to find the location of the hidden wireless transmitter, you will have to gradually decrease the sensitivity of the detector by moving tuner toward to "--". 3. Once you decreasing its detecting sensitivity, you will find both sound and LED lights dropping from a high level (3 lights on) to a lower level (1-2 lights flash), and then you move the detector around to find the direction showing the strongest wireless signal (3 lights on) , and walk toward that direction. 4. You decrease the sensitivity a little bit more by tuning the sensitivity to a lower level of light (1-2 lights flash), and repeat step 3 until you locate the hidden wireless transmitter. |

2. How to set the Detector as a Privacy Alarm! |
|
This setup is very powerful when you like to keep a place or a room with a great privacy to avoid any visitors bring unwanted wireless transmitter/camera/microphone/ cellular phone into your territory. 1. Place the detector at a fixed location that you want to set it as a guarding alarm, i.e. at the entrance of a room. 2. Turn on the device, check any if there is any transmitter already installed in the room causing the device alarming. You will turn off or lower down the transmitter power, and then gradually decrease the sensitivity of the detector to a level beginning not showing any signal. 3. Pretending you are a visitor and having a wireless transmitter with you, as you are getting close to the room the detector should begin to alarm. You may need to try few times to set the sensitivity to a desirable detection level. |
